Padmanabhaswamy Temple is located in the city of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala which in Malayalam translates into “the city of Lord Ananta” ( the deity which lies in the temple.This deity (Para brahman, Maha-Vishnu) lied in the eternal yogic sleep on the serpent, Adisheshan. The temple is a fusion of Kerala and Tamil style architecture with high walls and a 16th century gopuram.
